FLOTTEN LAKE — A Waterhen Lake man is being sought by police after an assault in the Flotten Lake area resulted in the discharge of a weapon.
A warrant has been issued for Dylan Lasas’s arrest and Meadow Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate him.
Dylan Lasas is described as approximately five foot 10 and 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
According to a release by the Saskatchewan RCMP, the Meadow Lake detachment received a report of two armed men assaulting an adult male in the Flotten Lake area on Aug. 31. A firearm was discharged during the altercation.
The victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation, Meadow Lake RCMP have charged 40-year-old Miles Lasas and 32-year-old Dylan Lasas, both of Waterhen Lake First Nation, with:
discharge firearm with intent;
assault with a weapon.
Miles Lasas was arrested at a residence on Waterhen Lake First Nation on Sept. 1 and will make his first appearance at Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Sept. 6.
Dylan Lasas is still at large. He should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him.
