Battlefords RCMP have released a suspect photo from Saturday morning’s armed robbery on the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford.
Battlefords RCMP are requesting business or community members with video surveillance to check their systems between the hours of 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. to see if they may have captured this suspect on camera, which would assist in identifying them.
On Jan. 4 at 1 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a complaint of an armed robbery at a business located on the 1700 block of 100th Street. A lone male subject entered the business brandishing a weapon and threatening the employee to provide cash. Once the male obtained the cash that was demanded he fled the business, running west bound across 100th Street towards 99th Street and further west out of view.
The suspect was described as being tall, thin, wearing a black short sleeved jacket and a grey hoodie underneath, as well as black jeans and black shoes.
