A new Pizza Hut is coming to Tisdale

TISDALE — The owners of several Pizza Hut locations in Saskatchewan, including Melfort and Nipawin, are planning a mid-April opening for a new location in Tisdale.

Vijay Patel, co-owner of Pizza Hut in Martensville, Warman, Nipawin, Kindersley and Melfort, said the layout of the restaurant will differ from the others, designed so the pizza will be prepared in an area that the customer can see for greater transparency.

“In other places they have the kitchen at the back. This one has a kitchen at the front, just like a Subway,” Patel said. “Customers should know how we’re making their pizza and what are the things we’re putting in.”

He said that a grand opening is planned to take place a couple weeks after opening, to give time to allow for staff training.

This isn’t the only change to local Pizza Huts, with the location in Melfort being moved to 1920 E Service Road in early-February.

“It’s already up and running and we are very happy with the performance,” Patel said. “We are doing very good in Melfort, and I know that we definitely will be good in Tisdale as well.”

The Tisdale location, which will be located near Subway and Dairy Queen, will offer dine-in, pickup and delivery.
