Nathaniel Kenneth Carrier, 28, previously posted that ominous quote on his Facebook page.
His social media profile depicts a mix of darkness, humour and love for his family.
He said the only good thing about holidays is spending time with family.
“Little Miss already better than Daddy at selfies Lmao (heart emoticon)” he posts about his daughter. The daughter he is accused of trying to kill.
Carrier was arrested March 31 and charged on April 1 with first-degree murder for the deaths of his mother Sandra Henry, 56, father Denis Henry, 56, and son, Bentlee, 7. He is also charged with the attempted murder of his daughter, Kendrah, 5, who remains in critical condition in an Edmonton hospital.
According to police, Carrier lived with his parents in the home at 315 MacArthur Drive that the triple homicide occurred.
Police went to the home on Sunday after a family member called them to check on the wellbeing of the family. Inside they found a grisly scene with three dead and a young girl fighting for her life.
Denis Carrier’s vehicle was missing – as was Nathaniel Carrier. On Sunday evening, RCMP informed the Prince Albert Police Service that the missing vehicle was in La Ronge. Police later found Nathaniel Carrier back in Prince Albert, where he was arrested without incident.
Police say the investigation is ongoing but new evidence suggest the homicides occurred on Saturday, March 28.
Carrier was scheduled to appear in court on April 1 but his attendance was waived. The court didn’t specify why his attendance was waived. He is now scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial court on April 15.
