A Prince Albert man facing dozens of weapons and drug-related charges has been committed to stand trial in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Integrated Crime Reduction Team arrested twenty-nine-year-old Jared Naytowhow in November on outstanding warrants. When they arrested him they found a loaded handgun, marijuana, methamphetamine and more than $500 in cash, which they believe are related to gang activity.

Prince Albert Police also arrested a twenty-nine-year-old woman with Naytowhow. They released her on an undertaking, a promise to appear in Prince Albert court.

Naytowhow’s latest appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court was on Dec. 9. A trial date hasn’t been set yet in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench.
