Prairie Women on Snowmobiles (PWOS) will be making their trek through the Hafford area this year.
The 13th annual eight-day mission ride to raise funds for breast cancer research begins Feb. 1 and will hit Hafford on the seventh day of the tour, Feb. 7. The Hafford Summer Sizzle committee will be hosting a coffee break event for the organizations slate of 10 core riders.
The riders are scheduled to arrive at the Hafford Seniors' Centre approximately at 3 p.m. "Members of the community are welcome to stop by to make donations and enjoy coffee and socializing between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.," commented Russ MacNutt, representative of the Hafford Summer Sizzle committee. "Karen and I had an opportunity to meet the 2010 team in Big River and we encourage people to support their efforts towards this great cause."
Donations can also be made on the pledge sheets available at Hafford Post Office, Hafford Innovation Credit Union and Redberry Pharmacy in Hafford.
