Red Pheasant man still missing

Battlefords RCMP are again seeking the public's assistance in locating Ronald William Peequaquat, aged 45 years. Peequaquat was last seen Saturday, June 25 leaving a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation.

Battlefords RCMP are again seeking the public's assistance in locating Ronald William Peequaquat, aged 45 years.

Peequaquat was last seen Saturday, June 25 leaving a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation.He indicated at that time that he was going to hitch hike to North Battleford (along Highway 4). Police say they are unable to confirm with certainty that he made it to North Battleford.

Search and rescue as well as the RCMP have conducted searches on Red Pheasant First Nation and Highway 4.

Police are asking the public to report anything of interest from these areas. Peequaquat was last seen wearing a dark blue Oilers Jersey and a green Saskatchewan Roughriders hat.

In additon to the Battlefords area, Peequaquat has family ties in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Yellow Quill First Nation.

Police continue to investigate as friends and family of Peequaquat have not heard from him since.
