Saskatoon firefighters assist in carbon monoxide incident

Paramedics transported the patients to the hospital to receive medical care.

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide incident where they rescued four individuals.

The incident was reported at 5:58 p.m. on Thursday, July 11.

First arriving crews, upon arrival at the scene, found an individual suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. Paramedics on the scene treated the patient for transport to the hospital.

Other firefighters wore breathing apparatus to search the underground parking garage and three more people. They were escorted to awaiting ambulances for transport to the hospital.

Fire crews remained on the scene to search other building areas and ventilate the garage.

No other occupants were located.
