Twenty North Battleford drivers have been fined over two days for exceeding the new 30 km/h speed cap in the city's school zones.
Battlefords RCMP say they focused on enforcement of the zones Monday and Tuesday this week.
RCMP reminds the public all school zones in North Battleford are30 km/h. Drivers have been charged, in some cases, at more than double the posted speed limit. The fine for going through the school zone at 50 km/h is $230 and goes up from there.
The RCMP say they will continue to focus on school zones in Battleford and North Battleford.
