Smeaton RCMP continue to search for Malcolm Custer

DESCHAMBAULT LAKE — Smeaton RCMP continue to ask for the public’s assistance in locating 69-year-old Malcolm Custer, who was last seen on June 17 in the area of the Big Sandy Fishing and Hunting Resort.

Smeaton RCMP, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP Search and Rescue, the Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers, the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and family/community members have searched the rural area where Custer was last seen. RCMP say these searches will continue.

Custer is known to visit Deschambault Lake, Brabant Lake, La Ronge, Stanley Mission and Prince Albert, and Smeaton RCMP is working with investigators in each of these communities.
