ENGLEFELD — A yellow and black Ski Doo snowmobile and a trailer were stolen from a Englefeld home.
Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said they believe the crime took place between 5 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22.
RCMP said a suspect vehicle, described as a black Dodge Ram truck with damage to the front bumper, took the two items.
The vehicle then got stuck on a grid road just south west of Englefeld at around 7:30 a.m. The trailer was recovered from that area. Police said they believe that the suspects then loaded the snowmobile into the vehicle before heading off in an unknown direction.
Humboldt RCMP said they were made aware of the theft at 3 p.m. that day.
