The Frontier Mall in support of the Battlefords United Way will be hosting a Pumpkin Festival Oct. 29 to 31.
Local artists will be carving/painting pumpkins for the public to view and to vote on by donating their spare change for their favourite pumpkin or pumpkins.
The pumpkins will be on display in the halls of the Frontier Mall during regular mall hours. All donations (votes) of $10 or more will receive a charitable receipt from the Battlefords United Way. The public may also bid on the pumpkins through a silent auction to take their favourite pumpkin home. All pumpkins are being donated by No Frills located at the Frontier Mall.
As in previous years, the Frontier Mall will also be hosting a Halloween Howl, however, the event will take place after school hours Oct. 31.
There will be trick or treating from the city wide candy drop off from 3 to 8 p.m,, activities and crafts for the kids from 4 to 7 p.m. and Warne photography will be in attendance to take a picture of little goblins from 4 to 9 p.m.
