Spray parks reopen to beat the heat in Saskatoon

SASKATOON - Soaring temperatures in Saskatoon this weekend have prompted the city to reopen most of its spray pads.

It says all spray pads are open except for Robert Hunter and Thornton Parks, noting that the water lines there were already blown out for winter.

The city says it wants to provide some extra summer fun and an opportunity for residents to cool down.

Daily highs above 30 degrees are forecast to continue in Saskatoon until Tuesday.
