On Dec. 17, the host Trojans and visiting Saskatoon Blazers were knotted at 1-1 with 1:10 remaining.

Veteran Brett Neumeier scored his fourth goal of the season to put Tisdale on top. With 49 seconds left, he found the back of the net again – with an empty net marker – to ensure the victory.

“It was good to see Brett get a couple goals for us and get some confidence going for him,” said Darrell Mann, Tisdale’s head coach. “We need everybody to contribute. Once we get clicking on all cylinders, I really do think we are going to score some more goals.”

Landon Kosior scored for Tisdale in the first period to open the scoring. Saskatoon was able to tie it up before the end of the period. Neither team scored in the second period. Ross made 21 saves for the Trojans. Tisdale had 37 shots on net.
