Highways on both sides of Tobin Lake are about to get smoother.
The provincial government announced tenders for an estimated $220 million in highways projects.
One of the projects is the resurfacing of 14.4 kilometres of Highway #255. That distance would cover from the junction of Highway #55 to the junction of where Highway #255 turns north after heading east.
The other project is the resurfacing of six kilometres of Highway #35, which covers the junction of Highway #55 to where the highway turns east.
Highway ministry officials were unable to disclose how much they estimate the projects would cost as they fear that would affect the tendering process. The projects are expected to be done next year.
