Failure to buckle up resulted in tragedy eight kilometres north of Kinley early Thursday morning.
Biggar RCMP say a 21-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle rolled on a gravel road. Police say she was not wearing her seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-month-old toddler was removed from the vehicle unharmed. The toddler was transported by EMS to Royal University Hospital as a precaution.
An RCMP Collision analyst was called to the scene. Road conditions at the time of the accident were good. The name of the deceased is not being released at the request of the family.
