Two motor vehicle accidents kept crews busy on another wintery weekend in the Battlefords.
The first incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday. Two vehicles collided d at the corner of 11th Avenue and 100th Street. No injuries were reported but there was fluids leaking from one of the vehicles. Both vehicles ended up being towed.
One North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services fire apparatus and three personnel were on the scene for almost a half hour.
The other incident happened on the northbound lane of the Highway 16 bridge between Battleford and North Battleford Saturday. One vehicle slid into the guardrail, and two patients were transported to hospital by WPD Ambulance.
Road conditions were described by the fire department as very slippery at the time of the incident, which took place shortly after 2 p.m.
