Vehicle drives into river, passengers flee

Witnesses indicated three occupants fled from the vehicle, a grey Ford Escape.

P.A. police received a report that a vehicle had driven off River Street and entered the water.

PRINCE ALBERT- Police are investigating an incident in which people were seen fleeing from a car that ended up in the North Saskatchewan River.

On June 28 at 11:51 a.m. the Prince Albert Police Service were called to the 100 block of River Street West for a report that a vehicle had driven off River Street and entered the water.

Prince Albert Police, along with Parkland Ambulance and Prince Albert Fire Department attended. Upon arrival, emergency personnel did not locate anyone at the scene. Witnesses indicated three occupants fled from the vehicle, a grey Ford Escape.

Two males and one female were last seen west bound on the Rotary Trail. The driver was described as a female, in her 20’s, with dark black long hair.
