THE BATTLEFORDS — The board of directors of Canadian Mental Health Association, Battlefords Branch has announced the retirement of Executive Director Jane Zielke de Montbrun.
Zielke de Montbrun has dedicated 11 years to CMHA Battlefords, and to building mental wellness in the Battlefords. According to a board press release, she has led with compassion, integrity and passion for the agency and community.
“Jane has many achievements with CMHA Battlefords, notably the creation of the Living Well Learning Centre and the newly opened supportive housing Independence Commons. Jane will be deeply missed by the board, the staff and most sincerely by our wonderful members,” the release states.
Board Chair Marion Palidwor noted, “Jane is an exceptional person, who has done exceptional things for our agency. We are humbled by her dedication to building our agency and to serving CMHA members and those of the Battlefords. She has made CMHA Battlefords a home for so many.”
The board will begin immediately the hiring process for a new executive director. According to the release, the board is looking for the right candidate who can serve the organization’s vision and continue the progress of mental health initiatives in the Battlefords.
CMHA Battlefords serves more than 200 CMHA members, and countless others in the community through its social and work programs, peer groups, supportive housing, educational training programs, advocacy and community development.
