North Battlefords' Club Champion was looking to put his golfing skills to the test this week during the Saskatchewan Amateur Women's & Mid-Amateur Men's Championships at Kenosee Lake.
After day one, Dwayne Johnston is tied for 16th at +6.
The top score after Tuesday's round was -1.
A total of 75 men and 13 women took to the course.
Another local area golfer taking part in the men's division is Brett Harrison of Maidstone. Harrison was tied for 36th after finishing +10 Tuesday.
