The first week of the North Battleford Touch Football League is complete and four teams are tied for first place while four are tied for fifth place.

The same four teams that won on Aug. 16 won again on Thursday against different opponents.

Thursday, the Gophers beat the Razorbacks 28-0, the Huskies beat the Western Can Slammers 46-8, the Rhinos beat the Silver Bullets 59-6 and the Headhunters lost a close game to the Broncos 14-12.

The Razorbacks have yet to score this season while the Gophers defence has been perfect in two games.

Those streaks were put to the test Tuesday, as all four teams were in action and Thursday, the Gophers face the Broncos, the Silver Bullets face Western Can Slammers, the Huskies battle the Rhinos and the Headhunters play the Razorbacks.
