SHUTRA: In Loving Memory of Louis Shutra who was born June 17, 1923 at Rozdralow, Ukraine and passed away July 9, 2011 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish Louis' memory are his wife of 53 years, Lucille ; their son and daughter-in-law Brian and Charlene and their children, Wayne and Jackie & sons, Nathan and Rylan; Darryl & his daughter Farrish; Aaron and Andrew : daughter Donna and Jim Brouynooghe and their children, Kristal and her fiancé Dan; James Jr and his fiancé Jenny: daughter Dianne and Darrick Winterhalt and their children, Chalaine and James Halladay and their daughter Emma; Chalsee, Chadd . His loving sister Olga Hawryluk and numerous nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Julia Shutra; niece, Linda Hutchinson; brothers-in-law, Mike Hawryluk, Lorne Hodge, Harold Beharrell and Alex Holowenko. Service of Celebration For Louis' Life was held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Third Avenue United Church, North Battleford, SK with Rev. Frances Patterson officiating. The Eulogy and Shared Memories were given by "The Grandchildren". Gifts of Music were by Organist/Pianist, Jaya Hoy; Violinist, Quinn Eberle; Pianist, Hilda Eberle; Soloist - Robert MacKay ~ "Amazing Grace" and Hymn Selections~ "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "On Eagles Wings". The Urn Bearers were Wayne Shutra and Chalaine Halladay and Honourary Pallbearers were "All Those Who Shared In His Life". Memorials are requested to The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8 (Please designate to The Palliative Care Unit). Private Interment took place at Prairie Willows Columbaria, City Cemetery, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service. 446-4200 ____________________________________________________
