Jumping through hoops

There's too much bureaucracy in the world. I found this out a long time ago, but the truth of this statement was recently reinforced when I finally went in to switch my vehicle insurance over to Saskatchewan.

I found this out a long time ago, but the truth of this statement was recently reinforced when I finally went in to switch my vehicle insurance over to Saskatchewan.

Paying for a new driver's license was a small thing. The big thing was paying over $100 to get my vehicle, which I just bought in January, inspected.

Now, if I were driving some ancient clunker, I would understand. But my insurance hasn't lapsed, the vehicle has never been in an accident, and furthermore, my warranty hasn't expired.

Hopefully, they'll find something wrong with my vehicle so I can justify the $3,000 I dropped on the stupid warranty.
