Canine Unit called out to find robbery suspect in Prince Albert

On Jan. 2 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police were called to a business in the 200 block of 15th Street West for a robbery in progress.

PRINCE ALBERT - Prince Albert Police are investigating following a robbery at a business late Thursday night in the city.

On Jan. 2 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police were called to a business in the 200 block of 15th Street West for a robbery in progress.

Further call updates stated the suspect fled the scene.

Upon arrival, officers learned a male had entered the business and pulled out a knife before demanding money and fleeing the scene.

The Prince Albert Police Service Canine Unit attended and a K-9 track was conducted; however, the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as male, 5'8" tall, approximately 160 pounds, wearing a black puffy jacket, grey hoodie, grey sweatpants, a black balaclava, and white Adidas shoes with a black logo.
