PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating after responding to a stabbing in the Cornerstone area Friday afternoon.
At approximately 3 p.m. on April 11, police were called to a business in the 800 block of 15th Street East for a weapons call.
Initial information stated a male had been stabbed in the parking lot.
Officers arrived on scene and quickly located an injured male with injuries consistent with a stabbing; Parkland Ambulance arrived on scene shortly after and treated and transported the male to hospital.
His injuries were later determined to be non-life-threatening.
The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and attempts to locate the individual were unsuccessful.
The Prince Albert Police Service is continuing to investigate.
