Police look for two suspects following robbery, stabbing

PRINCE ALBERT - Police are investigating following a robbery and stabbing Friday morning in Prince Albert.

At approximately 6:20 a.m. on Dec. 20, police were called to the 1200 block of 28th Street East for a report of a robbery.

Initial information stated a cab driver had been robbed and stabbed.

Arriving officers located a 47-year-old male suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing; he was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers learned two males had entered the cab and demanded money before the victim was stabbed.

One of the suspects then fled east-bound on foot, while the other fled west-bound in a different vehicle.

Police are continuing to investigate.
