PRINCE ALBERT - Prince Albert police say traffic restrictions have been lifted in the area of the 200 block of 15th Street West and one person has been arrested in relation to an arson incident Thursday morning.

On Feb. 6 at approximately 6:50 a.m. police were called to the 200 block of 15th Street West for a report of a structure fire. Police officers and members of the Prince Albert Fire Department arrived on scene shortly after. Officers located a 36-year-old woman who had exited the burning residence; she was assessed by Parkland Ambulance.

Police say officers were able to locate and arrest a male suspect in relation to arson a few hours later. As a result, the 37-year-old man has been charged with arson with disregard for human life.

The Prince Albert Police Service says it would like to thank members of the public for their cooperation throughout the traffic restrictions.
