Road restrictions in Saskatoon this weekend

The city reminds motorists to slow down, obey signs and watch for workers in construction zones.

SASKATOON - Construction season continues in Saskatoon. On Friday, July 12, the city announced new road restrictions on priority one streets: high traffic and speed.

Road restrictions are in place on the eastbound and centre lanes of 8th Street from Harris to Arlington Avenues due to sidewalk removal from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Due to valve replacement, the northbound lane from Clarence Avenue South to 12th Street East will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sidewalk repair will close Arlington Avenue to Circle Drive East along 8th Street East’s eastbound lane from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Road resurfacing will be done on the westbound median lane on College Drive from 6:30 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, closing the left turn lane from Circle Drive East to Preston Avenue North.

Due to pavement markings, Circle Drive East’s westbound curb lane will be closed from Millar Avenue to Northridge Drive from 7 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday.

Lane markings from 7 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday will be done along Circle Drive East’s northbound curb lane at 14th Street East.

Line markings will be done along Circle Drive East’s northbound lane at College Drive from 7 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday.

Paving will be done on the southbound median lane of Highway 11 from Delaronde Crescent to Vic Boulevard from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday.
