SASKATOON - Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the arrests of two men this week.
On Jan. 8, the Crime Reduction Team, with the support of the Tactical Support Unit, arrested two men at separate addresses in the 1500 block of 8th Street East and the 2600 block of Lorne Avenue.
A search warrant was subsequently executed at an address in the 1000 block of Main Street East, yielding the following evidentiary seizures:
- $25,822 CAD
- 756.9 grams of powdered cocaine
- 992.7 grams of MDMA
- 514 grams of raw cannabis
- 67 codeine pills
- Illegal cigarettes
- Multiple mobile phones
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result, a 37-year-old Grandora man and a 33-year-old North York, Ont., man are facing a total of nine charges relating to drug trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
