SASKATOON — City crews began their scheduled tree maintenance on Thursday, Jan. 2, pruning trees on civic properties in the Dundonald, Holiday Park, North Park, and River Heights neighbourhoods.
This is part of the City Boulevard Tree Maintenance Program, which will continue until March 31. It is part of a regular pruning cycle to help preserve the health of the tree inventory, eliminate hazards, and provide clearance from buildings, signs, streetlights, and utility wires.
Tree maintenance often requires road restrictions. The city reminds pedestrians, cyclists and drivers to prioritize safety by respecting the work zone and obeying all road restrictions and signage.
