SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police are encouraging motorists to drive with caution following several calls for service to collisions on Nov. 19, related to road conditions.
Police have attended 22 collisions between 12 a.m. and 4 p.m. today. Special Constables in Communications have also received several other calls relating to collisions where a police attendance was not needed. None have resulted in serious injury.
Motorists preparing for their evening commute are advised of collisions on Circle Drive and Clarence Avenue South along with Highway 5 and McOrmond Drive; traffic has been moving slowly as a result and motorists may wish to use alternate routes.
The Saskatoon Police Service want to remind people to reduce speeds, allow for additional time to travel to your destination, and increase your following distance with the vehicle ahead.
