SASKATOON - Police are investigating following an armed robbery yesterday in Saskatoon.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on March 9, police were called to the 100 block of Avenue S South for a report of an armed robbery that had occurred a short time prior. Continued investigation determined that a food delivery driver had been waiting outside an apartment building to make a delivery when approached by two men who produced a knife and robbed him of the delivery; they then fled the area.
Officers did not locate the suspects; however, police are continuing to investigate.
