Man found with injuries from knife attack in Saskatoon

SASKATOON - A man has been charged after an assault on Sunday in Saskatoon.

On Dec. 15 at around 10 a.m., Police were called to the 300 block of Avenue L North for the report of an injured person. When they arrived, a 31-year-old man was found outside a residence, with injuries caused by a knife.

Medavie Health Services transported the victim to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non life threatening injuries.

Police learned that the incident had occurred in a nearby residence and the suspect might still be inside.

The suspect, a 30-year-old man, was found inside the residence and subsequently arrested. 

The 30-year-old man is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
