SASKATOON - Police are investigating following an armed robbery early this morning in Saskatoon.
At around 12:45 a.m. on March 11, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue T South for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Further investigation found that a delivery driver had been waiting outside an apartment building to make an alcohol delivery when approached by two suspects brandishing a bat and firearm; the delivery driver was struck multiple times with the bat and robbed of the delivery. The suspects then fled the area.
The suspects are described as a male wearing all black clothing with a black mask and black gloves, as well as an approximately 4' female with red hair wearing a black mask with white stripes.
A search of the area did not locate the suspects; however, police are continuing to investigate.
