Police ask for public's help to find stabbing suspect

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

SASKATOON - Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred over the weekend in Saskatoon.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Jan. 4, patrol officers responded to a report of an injured person at a home in the 400 block of Avenue I South.

Upon arrival, they learned the victim, a 30-year-old man, had exited a business in 900 block of 22nd Street West and found an unknown man striking his vehicle.

A physical confrontation ensued during which the victim suffered a stab wound.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as male, in his early 20s with a medium build. He was last seen wearing brown “Timberland” boots, cream-coloured pants with a black stripe, a cream/tan-coloured hoodie, a black jacket with the hood up, and a hat on underneath. He was also seen to be carrying a small duffle bag.
