SASKATOON - A 29-year-old Saskatoon woman is in stable condition in hospital following a stabbing overnight in Saskatoon.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., Dec. 23, police were called to a report of a machete stabbing at a suite in the 500 block of Avenue X South. Upon arrival officers located the woman suffering from a serious injury. Inside the suite, police located a 55-year-old woman and took her into custody.
The incident is being investigated by members of the Serious Assault Unit.
