WARMAN - Two Saskatoon residents are dead after a New Year's Eve collision.
On Dec. 31, 2024, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Warman RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 12, just south of the intersection with Highway 305.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined a semi and SUV collided. The driver and the passenger of the SUV were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. They have been identified as a 29-year-old female and a 40-year-old male, both from Saskatoon. Their families have been notified.
The driver of the semi was assessed by EMS at the scene for injuries described to police as non-life-threatening in nature.
Highway 12 was temporarily closed but has since been reopened.
Warman RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
