UNITY — The archery team was in Moose Jaw on May 25 for Canadian Nationals. The team includes members Tate Pool, Hunter Ireland, Elisha Avena, Xander Wells, Natalia Heck, Grace Heck and Sebastian Lauinger.

Grace Heck got a silver medal in the bullseye event with a personal best of 284. Grace is graduating and this is a great way for her to finish the season.

Sebastian Lauinger also got a silver medal with a score of 288. The rest of the team was really awesome too. We had quite a few personal bests.

In the bullseye category, Natalia Heck scored 245 and Xander Wells scored 225. In the 3D category, Tate Pool ended up with a 225, Elisha Avena a 242, Xander Wells scored 244. Grace Heck scored a 267, Natalia Heck had 240 score, and Hunter Ireland with a 238.

The team had an incredible journey this year and I am certain that next year there will be some more personal bests getting set.
