Unity Report
RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
Members received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Unity. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
RCMP acted as mediators in a dispute between two youth.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
RCMP received another Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and left them in the care of a family member.
A 41-year-old man from Unity was charged with impaired operation of motor vehicle after members received a complaint of an impaired driver.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision near Unity. A west-bound vehicle on Highway 14 rolled in the ditch just west of the Town of Unity. There were no injuries.
There were also two traffic complaints.
Wilkie Report
RCMP received a complaint of an individual failing to comply with a release order condition but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 14 south of Wilkie. The vehicle driver sustained minor injuries. This matter is still under investigation.
A 39-year-old woman from Wilkie was charged with assault, overcoming resistance in the commission of an indictable offence and possession of methamphetamine after members received a complaint of assault.
Members assisted an individual in locating a place to stay.
RCMP conducted a property check at the request of a property owner.
Police received a complaint of breach of peace. This matter is still under investigation.
Members spoke to an individual regarding a property issue and civil court proceedings.
RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.
Macklin Report
RCMP charged a 40-year-old Macklin man with mischief and impaired operation of a motor vehicle after members received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence.
A 27-year-old Macklin man was charged with assault after members received a complaint of assault.
Members attended a fire at the Villa Marie. The fire was extinguished by Macklin Fire Department and was not suspicious in nature.
There were also three traffic complaints.
Jan. 17 to 23
Unity Report
RCMP received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received another complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
Members attended a two-vehicle collision in Unity. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
RCMP are investigating a complaint of theft.
Police received a report of a cat in a fenced compound that was possibly injured. Members attended. The animal was not injured.
Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a fire hydrant. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
There was also one false alarm.
Wilkie Report
RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a complaint of sexual assault. This matter is still under investigation.
Members attended a two-vehicle collision in Wilkie. There were no injuries, but both vehicles were not driveable following the collision. A traffic ticket was issued to one vehicle driver.
Macklin Report
RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. This matter is still under investigation.
Members issued a 72-hour-roadside suspension to a vehicle driver during a traffic stop.
Police spoke to an individual regarding court procedures.
RCMP received a report of a residence fire. Macklin Fire Department contacted Members to state there was not a fire at the residence and members were not required to attend.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint who was left in the care of family members.
Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 17 north of Macklin. Saskatchewan Environment Resource Management was notified to euthanize the injured animal.
RCMP assisted Saskatoon Police Service by obtaining a statement from an individual in the detachment area.
There were also two traffic complaints and one false alarm.
