UNITY — According to a news release issued by North West Terminal in Unity, Oct. 21, the operation will construct an almost 11,000-square-foot barrel-aging warehouse at its site near Unity.
The facility is expected to be completed by the new year for an estimated cost of $850,000. The warehouse is expected to store approximately 8,000 barrels of alcohol for aging, when in full production
The media release also states, “North West Terminal Ltd., operating as North West Pure Alcohol and Spirits (NWP) and using the trademark nwPURETM, entered into an agreement with Ultra Pure LLC., one of the largest bulk alcohol suppliers in the United States on Feb. 1, for the supply of Canadian Whiskey to the USA."
