CHERILYNN AGNES BERG
August 21st, 1976 - October 2nd, 2024
Cherilynn Agnes Berg, born in Gravelbourg, SK, passed away in Regina, SK on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, at the age of 48 years.
She was predeceased by her grandpa, Ben Penner; grandpa and grandma, Elmer and Jean Berg; uncle, Peter Penner; aunt, Gertrude Younger; and uncle, Bert Koop. Cherilynn is survived by her mother, Agnes Berg (née: Penner); brothers: Steven, Greg (Kyra) and son Nykolay, and Edward and daughter Anna; father, Garnet (Fe) Berg; grandma, Sarah Penner; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends. She will be very much missed by her family and her special family at COR.
From the day of her birth Cherilynn faced health issues and hardship in her life. She found ways to face and overcome what she could. She lived with her family until the age of 13, at which time she went to live in a group home in Regina operated by Ranch Ehrlo Society. After graduating high school, Cherilynn was in some other group homes until she settled with COR in 2007, where she found her special family.
Cherilynn loved the people she knew genuinely. Her greatest joys in life came from being around babies, small children and animals. Meals were a time that were not to be interrupted, especially if she was having her favourite foods.
We have been blessed to have her in our lives. On the evening of October 2nd, 2024, she went home to heaven to join those who were waiting for her. She will live in our hearts and memories forever.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully appreciated to help with extra funeral expenses. Any extra funds will be donated to COR, a non-profit organization.
