Martha Rothe (née Haukeness): 1931 - 2024
Martha Rothe, 93, died on December 17, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, Sask. She was surrounded by the love of her family when her death came, after a brief illness.
Martha will be forever loved and remembered by her son Norm (Sonja) Rothe and daughter Sonja (Gerry) Zotzman; grandchildren: Tovah Rothe (Andrew) and Siri Rothe (Tyler), Kristy Zotzman (Walker) and Craig Zotzman, and her special niece Ramona Young.
She was predeceased by her husband Erling; parents: Elmer & Brita Haukeness; sister Gladys (Lloyd) Lindgren; brothers: Elvin (Ethel) Haukeness and Ole (Viola) Haukeness.
In Martha's honour, her family will gather privately to celebrate her life. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.
Martha's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the loving staff at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home for the eight years of compassionate care provided to her. They would also like to thank Dr. Tsoi and the care staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for their special care in Martha's final days.
