REGINA - Keith Urban is coming to Saskatchewan.
It is confirmed in a news release from REAL that four-time Grammy Award winning performer will bring his High and Alive World Tour to Saskatchewan in September. He will perform Sept 13 at Brandt Centre in Regina, and then Sept. 15 at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
These are among eight shows lined up for Canada as part of the world tour, which begins May 22 in Orange Beach, Alabama and wraps up Oct. 17 in Nashville.
Also included are performances from Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen and Karley Scott Collins.
According to Ticketmaster, on sale to the general public begins Oct. 17 at 10 a.m., with VIP package presale the day before at 10 a.m. More information about the tour can be found at www.keithurban.com; more North American dates are to be announced in the coming months.
“Playing live is what I live to do,” said Urban in a news release. “Looking out from a stage and seeing people singing, forgetting about all the stress in their lives, cutting loose, and feeling ALIVE - that’s what it’s about for me. Lots of hits, new songs, things we won’t even think about until we’re onstage - and loads of guitar. We’re gonna make this tour the best night of your life!”
