REGINA - UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm warning for Regina has now lifted.

EARLIER (5:47 p.m.): Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the city of Regina.
According to the statement from Environment Canada:
At 5:46 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and torrential rain. A line of severe thunderstorms continues from Craven southwest to Willow Bunch. Thunderstorms are moving northeast at 20 km/h. Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors! Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
