REGINA - There was little doubt that Andrew Scheer wouldn’t be re-elected in the riding he’s held since 2004.

Scheer, who at one point was the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada Leader, won Regina—Qu'Appelle by over 10,000 votes.

“Thank you for sending me back to Ottawa so I can be your voice, so I can be your champion for this province,” he said.

Scheer was appointed as the official opposition house leader back in 2022.

SaskToday will update this article once the election results are official.
