Update: The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have begun a death investigation that occurred in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. Police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning. When officers arrived, they located an injured adult male. He was declared deceased a short time later.
Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit. Regina police say this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victim’s name will not be released at this time.
