CARRY THE KETTLE NAKODA NATION - Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating a suspicious death on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.
On March 21, just before 3 a.m., File Hills First Nations Police Service received a report of a sudden death on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation. Further investigation determined the death was suspicious in nature and Saskatchewan RCMP was notified.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is actively investigating the death of an adult male. Saskatchewan RCMP has not arrested or charged anyone at this point in the investigation.
Residents of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation may notice an increased police presence as this investigation continues. Updates will be provided by RCMP as they become available.
If investigation determines an imminent risk to public safety exists, RCMP say they will notify the public.
