Update: Regina police locate missing 12-year-old boy

Missing 12 Year-Old Avery Prosper has been located unharmed, says the Regina Police Service on April 19.

"The Regina Police Service thanks the public and the media for their assistance and concern in this matter," said the post made by SPS on social media.

Original report (April 8, 7:15 a.m.)

REGINA - The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in locating 12-year-old Avery Prosper. Prosper was last seen on April 7 at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the 100 block of McIntosh Street.

Avery is described as: female, 5’1”, and 110 lbs, brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

There is no evidence to believe Avery has come to harm, however, she is considered vulnerable due to her age. Police would like to locate her to ensure their safety.

Anyone who has information that would help police locate Avery Prosper is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers.
