Woman arrested following drug-trafficking investigation

In January 2025, members of the Regina Police Service Crime Reduction Team began an investigation involving one individual who was believed to be trafficking drugs from a home in the 1300 block of King Street.

In January 2025, members of the Regina Police Service Crime Reduction Team began an investigation involving one individual who was believed to be trafficking drugs from a home in the 1300 block of King Street.

On March 5 at approximately 1:35 p.m., officers performed a traffic stop on the suspect in the 700 block of Albert Street with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team. Officers arrested the 43-year-old woman without incident. A search, after the arrest revealed items consistent with drug trafficking.

As a result of this investigation, a 43-year-old woman, from Regina, is charged with:

·Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking; and

·Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;

·2x Unauthorized possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon.

The accused made her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on March 7 at 9:30 a.m.
