Editor’s note: This is a weekly feature in the Estevan Mercury in an effort to recognize front-line Health Care workers at St. Joseph’s Hospital. We thank the St. Joseph’s Hospital for sponsoring this article and for submitting the write-up, and we applaud all health care workers and other essential services workers for their efforts during this pandemic.
This week’s focus is the Renal Dialysis Unit.
The Dialysis Department serves our community with approximately 2,800 Dialysis treatments per year.
The care is provided by: Nursing, Physicians, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Social Work, Pharmacy, Dietitians, visiting specialists and more.
The staff continues to provide services during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a specific focus on keeping our vulnerable patients safe during these times.
Thank you to our Health Care Heroes at the Dialysis Department of St. Joseph’s Hospital of Estevan.
